Our Team

Larry Savage is the President and Owner of Advanced Roofing Inc. At the age of six, he began working for his family’s roofing company where he worked in all positions – from sweeping the warehouse, to installing roofs, to acting as a superintendent, project manager, estimator and member of the sales team. In short, Larry understands exactly what it takes to get the job done for you.

Larry received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Alabama, and also graduated from Dale Carnegie Institute. Larry has served on numerous boards, and has years of experience working with insurance companies and covering residential and condominium associations. He is also a trusted source of information for architects, adjusters, roof consultants and homeowner’s associations throughout the Chicagoland and Fox Valley area.

He attributes his business knowledge to his father, and his involvement in the trade at such a young age. Because Larry has seen every aspect of his company in action, he knows how to give customers the quality service they need.

Don Savage has been working in the industry for 5 decades. He is our Vice President of sales, but has worked in every department over the years. Our work force looks to Don as a source of information if they run into any problems in the field. Most recently he has been invited to several round table discussions with manufacturers launching new products, and he is an expert in locating problem leak areas, and insurance claims. Don truly has been involved in roofing all his life. He was raised in Sandwich and still lives in the area. Don enjoys traveling and spending as much time as he can with his grandchildren.

Matthew Savage has been working for Advanced Roofing Inc. since 1998. Matthew’s extensive knowledge of roofing systems stems from his commitment to self-improvement. He volunteers for extra classes provided by vendor and manufacturing partners that are well beyond the yearly prerequisite requirements. He holds a Master’s Degree in Business.

Matt boasts certificates for the GAF Corporation Pro Field Exam, is a Master Shingle Applicator and was awarded the title of “Wizard” from CertainTeed, and completed training with our VELUX factory representative. He has certificates of achievement from the Smart Vent Company, official recognition in The Core Fundamentals and received three diplomas from the Roofers Success Academy. Most important to Matt is his personal involvement with customers, making certain that they understand the process from start to finish.

Matthew volunteers in the community on stage at local theatres, has performed in various concerts to raise money for surrounding non-profits, and almost always has people in tears with his sense of humor.

I (Stacy Skinner) currently a member of the marketing and accounting team at Advanced Roofing Inc., I have been employed at Advanced Roofing since 2007 in numerous roles. My current role as accounting manager is one I enjoy the most as I get to interacts with each client at the end of their home improvement project. Customer service is a cornerstone of our process and I want to ensure that each client has roof they love and service has meet their expectations. When I’m not in the office I enjoy spending time with our three children and traveling. Family is very important to me and spending time with our kids and extended family brings me the most joy.
